An mtDNA test conclusively determines whether or not test participants are related through a common female lineage. Test participants can be either male or female.

At only $490.00 our legal female linage test includes mtDNA analysis for 2 individuals with collection at your doctor’s office. Or, for a small additional appointment fee, we will arrange for your DNA collection to be done at one of our over 3,500 clinic locations.

Collection: You may not choose the witness for your test unless they’re from a doctor’s office. If using your doctor, enter their office address in the shipping section and we will send a DNA collection kit directly to them.

For professional collection at one of our clinic locations, a representative will contact you to arrange an appointment to your convenience.

2 Addresses: If test participants live in different states or areas, select the option for separate appointments or additional addresses and enter address information.

Results: Your test result will be mailed within one week after completion.  If email result delivery is purchased, the result is emailed within 24 hours after testing is complete.
